Beautiful Horses of Indiana Paintings Will Be Shown at the Eiteljorg Museum's Women in Art Market (Wooster, Ohio — February 17, 2011) Equine artist Karen Brenner's newest series of paintings, Beautiful Horses of Indiana, will be shown at the Eiteljorg Museum's Women in Art Market in Indianapolis. The Market, which will include paintings, fiber art, ceramics and more from 40 regional women artists, runs from 10 AM - 5 PM - Saturday, March 26, 2011. The Beautiful Horses of Indiana series contains 52 paintings featuring a wide array of horses -- from heavies to minis - and one mule named "Miss Mary." Brenner traveled throught Indiana last summer visiting farms and photographing horses that had been nominated by their owners and/or fans for the project. As with her previous series, which featured Texas, Ohio, Michigan and Pennsylvania horses, people at the exhibit will be able to vote for their favorite painting. People may vote once at the show and once online - during the month of April.
