Beautiful Horses of Pennsylvania

A series of paintings by Karen Brenner

Equine artist Karen Brenner is seeking nominations for her newest series of paintings, "Beautiful Horses of Pennsylvania." If you have - or know of - beautiful horses who live in Pennsylvania, you are invited to nominate your favorite. Deadline to nominate a horse for this project is March 31, 2009.

Karen will travel throughout Pennsylvania during June 2009 to photograph selected horses.

Karen hopes to include a wide variety of breeds and colors in the project. Along with breed, selection of which horses to include will be based on the description you provide on the nomination form. Twenty to 25 horses will be selected for the series.

The "Beautiful Horses of Pennsylvania " series will include a painting of each selected horse. As each painting is completed it will be posted in a special section of this website. A "Beautiful Horses of Pennsylvania " exhibit will showcase all the paintings. The artist retains ownership of the paintings.

This will be the fourth in Karen's "Beautiful Horses" series. "Beautiful Horses of Texas, " "Beautiful Horses of Ohio," and "Beautiful Horses of Michigan" series were completed in 2006- 2009. They can be viewed on this website: Texas | Ohio | Michigan
